  • Abstract
    Aiming at the disadvantage of the existed algorithm, an efficient remachining tool path generation method for pocket with island is proposed in this paper. Firstly the pocket and island boundary curve recognition method is described in detail, and then the machinable and remachining region recognition method is presented. Moreover the tool path generation method is introduced. Finally the validity of present method is demonstrated by an example. The results indicate that the present method can improve greatly machining efficiency.
