Abstract
Nowadays the German regulator, which has recently been introduced, is putting pressure on the network operators to provide the reliable power supply experienced by the customers over decades under tough economic boundaries. Therefore the analysis and optimization of all levers, such as a number of assets, maintenance strategies, network automation, staffing, etc., has become essential.
