  • Abstract
The problems that can be encountered when transferring new technology into the product verification/quality area are examined. These include mismatching goals, environmental conflicts, perceptual problems, and lack of direct benefit. The author states that the key to any successful technology transfer actually begins with understanding the needs of the end-users. Once this has been accomplished, the chosen technology can be packaged and delivered with reasonable assurance that it will be accepted and prove beneficial. Prejudice can prevent technology developed under the auspices of one organization from being accepted by a different organization
