Abstract
With a copper removal experiment, this paper verified a new mathematical model of Emulsion Liquid Membrane (ELM) extracting hazard metal from waste water. The experimental data were put into the newly developed mathematical model of ELM. Mathematical model prediction of the copper concentration in aqueous phase were compared with the copper removal experimental data. The deviation of the model and experimental data were calculated. The model predictions agree pretty well with the experimental data.
