  • Abstract
    An compound control system using a recurrent neural network (RNN) is proposed to control a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) servo-drive system for end milling. First, a dynamical model of PMLSM servo-drive system for end milling is proposed. Second, a compound control system is proposed to control the mover for periodic motion. In the compound control system, the RNN controller is the main tracking controller, and the compensated controller is compensation of disturbances, friction and cogging forces. Finally, The effectiveness of the proposed control schemes is verified by the simulated results.
