  • Abstract
In this paper, a novel flyback inverter is proposed. It is composed of two basic bi-directional flyback converters, which can operate independently. This circuit can fulfil the isolation, transformation and the control of output performance simultaneously. It only includes four power switches, and the inductor of output filter is eliminated. The circuit is very simple and in the same period only one switch is high frequency modulated. Also, this circuit use MOSFETS as switches, so the bode-diodes of MOSFETS can be used to realize synchronous rectification and ZVS easily. So it owns the anticipant characters of the low profile and high reliability inverter. Simulation and experimental results of the experimental prototype verified that it has following advantages such as: compact topology, simple control scheme, good dynamic response and low current stress of the switches at the output ports. Also with the realization of the synchronous rectification, the converter efficiency can be improved
