  • Abstract
The photocatalysts of TiO2 nanoparticles coated on rice husk ash were prepared by the sol-gel method, which were characterized by XRD and TEM.The photocatalysts degradation of the pollutants in waste water of chromium. The results show that if the content of the Cr(VI) in waste water is 50mg·L-1 with the titania as adsorbent, the removal rate of Cr(VI) will reach 85%, which is obviously higher than using active carbon adsorbent. The effluent quality meets National Discharge Standard. The adsorbing mechanism was also studied preliminarily.
