  • Abstract
    Through the introduction to the problems of IEC61850 standard in the process of intelligent substation\´s protecting GOOSE, this paper puts forward a kind of brand-new method in relation to the implementation of GOOSE virtual terminal, including GOOSE DataSet, virtual terminal, logic wiring diagram, etc. The method in question can smoothly solve a series of problems concerning protecting seamless "cohesion" between protecting data in terms of protecting devices-GOOSE device, GOOSE connections between protecting devices and so on, which solves the problem in relation to the inadequate contact between subscribers and publishers of the information of GOOSE-a protecting device in the intelligent substation. GOOSE virtual terminal is applied in 66kV substation project in Nanshan, Dalian, which has achieved a better effect.
