Abstract
Selection the stuffing and optimization its surface can increase the biological treatment system capacity and buffer capacity. Biological deodorizations of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) was conducted by using modified ceramic which was made under different density of modifying agent as carrier in biotrickling filter. All modified ceramic had strong abilities to immobilize deodorization bacteria and the biofilm time was four days.It was found that the modified ceramic which was prepared under the modifying agent was 1.5 mol/L is better than other modified ceramics for its surface feature changes, more content of microorganism and the enhancive ability to remove H2S.
