  • Abstract
In order to solve high concentration of the air dust in the excavation roadway, foam jet dedusting machine was developed. Fixed on the roadheader, the machine could generate jet foam to cover, catch and settle the dust. The principle of the foam jet machine system and the composition of the system were introduced. Through contrast experiments, selection and content of the foam dedusting agent were studied, and the foam agent component was determined which had better effect as the final agent used in the foam jet machine. Through analysis and experiment, the structure of the air-water mixer and the better aeration area were defined. The filter was also fixed in the machine to improve the machine. Through installation and adjustment of the machine, the good effect was achieved in the excavation roadway, and the dedusting efficiency of respirable dust had reach 87 percent. The foam jet machine could be fixed conveniently and could reduce the concentration of the respirable dust largely, thus the application prospect is wide.
