Abstract
In this work, a new design method has been developed for the quarter-wave transformers (QWT) circuits using n th transformed Bernstein polynomial Bn(f:0) with the transformation x=g(0) subject to the required specifications of the characteristics. Finally a unified framework is achieved for the QWT circuits so that the well-known circuits such as the binomial, Chebyshev circuits can be designed as well as the new type of the QWT circuits by means of both analytical and graphical methods. A design chart is formed for the graphical aid so that all possible QWT circuits can be represented on a single chart and one can design different types of QWT circuit for a given (N,ZL,Z0,ρm). The new design method is applied and demonstrated by a lot of worked examples too
