  • Abstract
    The A-FLT location method for cellular COMA (IS-95) is now incorporated into the IS-95 standard either as a standalone method or as a companion/complement to A-GPS (Assisted GPS). A proof-of-concept project is reported which included the development of a processing platform (signal measurement and extraction, timing estimation, location estimation), extensive urban (Tel Aviv center) field data gathering, and processing and evaluation of the test results. Interim results on error and coverage are presented
