Abstract
Solar energy is the main driving force of climate cycles and all life cycles on Earth, it is inexhaustible and it can be used in all countries of the world. Bosnia and Herzegovina is in line with EU guidelines on mandatory reductions of greenhouse gas emissions required to increase production of electricity from the renewable energy sources. This paper describes first photovoltaic system directly connected to distribution network in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its components. Power quality measurement during different periods and weather conditions have been performed on the first photovoltaic system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The results are presented in this paper.
