Abstract
Recently, mobile ad hoc networks have obtained a growing interest because of their advantages in many practical applications. One of the crucial points is the quality-of-service (QoS) routing for real-time applications, which requires sufficient and constant bandwidth. Therefore, a routing protocol should also consider the definition of an efficient medium access control (MAC) scheme in a cross layer design. A QoS routing protocol is proposed in this paper to calculate, allocate and reserve resources for CDMA based ad hoc networks with route request. The protocol is called CDMA Bus Lane routing protocol
