Abstract
Experimental GPR survey data obtained in Yingshan and Tianmo parks (Beijing) are presented. The purpose was to estimate actual penetration depth and signal quality of LOZA-V GPR in generic Chinese soil conditions. This subsurface monopulse radar, using spark discharge transmitter and resistively loaded dipole antennas, reliably detects underground objects at 14-20 m depths without sophisticated signal processing.
