Abstract
The authors consider the effect of short-period temporal backscattering variability on agricultural crops remote sensing using millimetric wavelengths. Fields growing potatoes, wheat, barley and grass were studied. The temporal variability was due to the weather conditions, time of day, plowing and cropping and vegetation growth
