Abstract
The location algorithm and accuracy of bistatic radar network are discussed in this paper. Firstly the location method based on least square is analyzed. Then the combined location accuracy of two or more subsets is calculated. The results show that two disjoint subsets can be combined by the least square method and the location covariance matrix can be obtained. Least square estimation for subsets that has intersection does not exist. The location precision contours of measurement subsets and their combination are obtained from the simulation. It can be seen that the least square method can improve the location precision effectively. Research of this paper provides a theoretical base of detecting and tracking for near space bistatic radar network.
