  • Abstract
    Intelligent traffic management system is an important component of the intelligent transportation system. Urban traffic control system is a large system, and it has uncertain object, high demand of real-time control, and the structure is very complex. In this paper, on the basis of the study of Traffic Flow in traffic intersection, as to multi-phase traffic intersection, the writer presents a traffic signal timing optimization algorithm based on an adaptive genetic algorithm so as to reduce the queuing time and improve the traffic capacity of intersections.
