Abstract
This paper seeks to model self-reproduction on a Cellular Automaton (CA) in a more biologically realistic way than the rather abstract models common in the field. It does so by simulating processes involved in the reproduction of DNA, transcription of RNA, and synthesis of proteins on a Brownian Cellular Automaton (BCA), which is a CA that employs fluctuations of configurations to drive operations.
