  • Abstract
Through micromagnetic simulations, we investigated magnetic skyrmions motion driven by propagating spin waves (SWs) in a perpendicular magnetic nanowires. The calculation shows that the magnetic skyrmion can be driven into steady motion by SWs. This motion is interpreted by linear momentum transfer of SWs to the magnetic skyrmions. The velocity of skyrmion motion strongly depends on the frequency and amplitude of the SWs. Our work gives guidance for the future development of spintronics devices based on skyrmions .
