Abstract
Reliability is one of the most important quality parameter of the product ldquoelectricity supplyrdquo. Outages may lead to remarkable costs on the customer side. To answer these questions, medium voltage grids in a typical nordic location (central Finland) and an alpine region (Austria) are analyzed. The paper gives a comparison of structural parameters, technical parameters and fault statistics.
