Abstract
Motivated by the technological advances in high speed manufacturing, and by the great interest in the switched reluctance motors (SRM) we investigate the control problems of SRM. However, the SRM presents a coupled nonlinear multivariable control structure. A high performance control can not be made using linear techniques. In order to obtain a linear equivalent system, a nonlinear control, which compensates for all the nonlinearities, is searched using the feedback linearization technique.
