Abstract
The paper presents a practical guideline for precision delay matching in printed circuit boards by trace length control. Several examples of microstrip and stripline traces have been analyzed using a frequency domain 3D EM field solver and circuit simulation in the time domain. A simple method for the precise calculation of the time delay in printed traces containing bends has been presented
