Abstract
The paper describes an H∞-based approach using a state dependent Riccati equation (SDRE). It solves for a nonlinear H∞ control that satisfies the Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs partial differential equation. The nonlinear control law is formed around a gain scheduled linear solution, based upon the linearized dynamics, and adds to a linear control at each sample period
