  • Abstract
    A feedforward neural network based intelligent system for computer aided process planning (CAPP) methodology is developed. This methodology suggests the sequence of manufacturing operations to be used, based on the attributes of a feature of the component. By integrating this methodology with computer aided design (CAD), process planning can be generated, and tested, which helps in realizing concurrent engineering.
