  • Abstract
In this work, we are interested in the experimentation of an autonomous wind energy conversion system (WECS) using a test bench emulating a variable speed wind turbine (VSWT). This wind generator is connected to isolated loads through a DC bus and an inverter. The regulation of the DC bus voltage is carried out by a DC load controlled by a chopper. The goal of our work is to show the load voltage stability when a defect in the three-phase load connection is appeared. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the test bench and validate the applied control strategy.
