Abstract
To get rotor flux, stator flux and torque in an accurate way, the flux observer in the motor control is very important. This paper proposes a new design of flux observer based on the research on the distribution of the magnetic field by Finite Element Method. Firstly, a new mathematical model of the motor is set up from Maxwell´s equations; then, applied by the Finite Element Method, the relation between the magnetic field strength and stator voltage is found, from which the torque and the stator can be obtained by computer programs; finally, computer programs and algorithm are expressed. The result of the complexity estimation indicates that this method is available.
