Abstract
A linear motor attracts attention as application to the drive source of the transportation system in a factory. Since the inside of a factory is vast, a conveyance course is the long-distance, and this system is asked for the high acceleration and deceleration, a large thrust, and good controllability. In order to fill these demands, we pay our attention to a linear synchronous motor (LSM). In this paper, we propose the long-distance transportation system with LSM. It has many problems, if LSM is used for this system. A problem and solution are described.
