  • Abstract
In recent years, semantic Web service technology has gradually become the hot issue of academia and industry, for it can annotate Web service with semantic information to realize the automatic discovery, automatic composition and invocation. However, nowadays there is lack of ontology used to describe the semantic information of Web service directly, which results in the no basis and hard operation of semantic annotation of web service. With the purpose to resolve the problems above, this paper proposes a service ontology system based on OWL. It concentrates on describing the Web service, and especially with great emphasis describes the semantic information of Web servicepsilas categories, functions, input/output and so on, which will support to annotate web service clearly; Meanwhile, this paper presents an approach to parse service ontology, providing the basis to realize automatic machine readability and understandability of Web service.
