  • Abstract
    Medical endoscope system has the characteristics as high precision, functional flexibility and cost efficiency, which make it the assistant of medical diagnoses as well as the foundation of long-distance transmission of medical images and information and real-time dynamic image processing. Nevertheless, distortion of medical image such as fuzzy key details of organs may appear caused by the interlacing scanning technology, which may result in misdiagnoses. De-interlacing technique to eliminate distortion is essential. The statement of image interlacing distortion is presented through the theory of interlacing scanning technology at first. And then various de-interlacing algorithms are proposed and compared. Finally, according to the major reason of image interlacing distortion in medical endoscope system, adaptive de-interlacing algorithm is used to eliminate the distortion with.
