  • Abstract
    Yb:YAG laser have been demonstrated having some useful qualities in comparison with Nd:YAG and various pumping schemes for operating this laser have been employed. The configuration of diode-edge pumped Yb:YAG microchip laser is demonstrated. Here we report on the experiments carried out to figure the thermal behavior of the microchip composite material under two and four directions diode laser edge-pumping.
