  • Abstract
    Characteristic and hazard of enteromorpha prolifera disaster was analyzed. Significance and feasibility of disaster forewarning method and disaster forewarning system were explained clearly.Method and steps of extracting enteromorpha prolifera distribution and water temperature etc. information from MODIS data were researched. Based on construction of disaster forewarning database system, enteromorpha prolifera disaster forewarning system was developed based on Web Services with ArcGIS Server and Flex Softwares. Some characteristic functions including data publishing dynamically, visualization of disaster developing trend, warning of influence range and disaster level evaluation were implemented.The system was also applicable to forewarning of some disasters like red tide and sandstorm, so there was extensive application value.
