  • Abstract
Safe and predictive driving is still no longer a single function of the drivers ability to control the vehicle by his own. Efficiency in terms of resource consumption and CO2 emissions has to be assured in conjunction with intelligent driving strategies. C2X communication delivers a remarkable contribution to safe and intelligent mobility. The driver will be enabled to keep track of wider distances, to monitor hidden areas and to look around corners. Another very important gain of C2X communication is the collaborative traffic technology. Furthermore vehicles can even extend their ability to react and contribute on impacts like traffic flows, routings, accidents, hazards and weather effects arising during the journey.
