Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a system which is able to be applied to overhead ground wires, and to obtain power independent of the weather and the season for aviation obstruction lights. The authors developed an electromagnetic induction power supply system, which obtain stable power from induced current which flows through overhead ground wires by using a current transformer. This paper presents the results of EMTP analysis, outline of the system, application method to the field, and detailed comparison of the analysis data with operating data installed to Minami-Iwaki trunk line, Tokyo Electric Power Co. Inc.
