Abstract
The rise of China manufacturing industry has won the “World Factory” reputation, but the equipment manufacturing industry of China still in the low-end value chain of the global industrial chain. Vigorously promoting the information and industrialization integration can bring the industry from large to strong. For China, “manufacturing large” to “manufacturing power” points out the direction of development. This paper analyzes the content and level of information and industrialization integration, retroacts the theory of competitive advantage. Taking “diamond model” and “value-chain theory” as the analytical framework, the mechanism of advanced rail transportation equipment manufacturing industry in competitiveness enhancing is analyzed based on information and industrialization integration.
