Abstract
We propose a slot optimizing scheme and a rescheduling method to reduce the call-waiting time in the D-TDMA protocol. The proposed methods provide CBR traffic with the QoS guarantee by reserving data slots and rescheduling. The mean value of the call waiting time and the blocking probability are calculated by the computer simulations. The results of this paper contribute to the quality of service improvement in a multi-services mobile communication environment
