Abstract
A multiple decision delay decision-feedback equalizer (MDDDFE) is proposed for short-burst data communication over frequency-selective Rayleigh-fading indoor wireless channels. Simulation results show that MDDDFE can maintain low average bit error rate without incurring too much computational overhead. In particular, approximately 3 dB gain over the conventional single DFE approach is obtainable using two branch DFEs
