Abstract
Multihop transmission is deemed as one possible solution to improve transmit rate and extend coverage of wireless cellular networks. In this paper, full reuse resource partition schemes for multihop cellular networks (more than two hops) are exploited by graph methods to achieve efficient resource utilization. Two types of network topologies are considered, i.e. tree and mesh structures. Simulation platform according to 3GPP LTE-Advanced is built to investigate the performance of the proposed schemes. By comparison, it can be achieved that three hops transmission outperforms two hops transmission in cell edge user transmit rate. By mitigating interference to the backhaul links, tree structure can achieve higher transit rate than mesh structure.
