Abstract
Piezoelectric power generators employing piezoelectric materials to scavenge ambient vibration energy and provide micro electric energy for MEMS. In this paper, a model based on current equivalent circuit method to analyze electric generation characteristics of a cantilever piezoelectric power generator from low-frequency vibrations is put forward and used to discuss a prototype with experimental data. Effects of cantilever geometry and block mass on resonant frequency, output voltage and output power are given and compared with mechanics analysis model.
