Abstract
Ohira 2” earthworm was used to treat municipal solid waste in different fermentation degrees. PH value and carbon nitrogen ratio (C/N) were selected as single factor level. The conversion rate of raw materials by the earthworm was studied under different pH values andC/N. The experiments results indicate that the appropriate pH value of municipal solid waste after fermentation for the earthworm living is between 6.5 and 2. And the earthworm can maintain a rather high conversion rate of raw materials when C/N is between 20 and 22. The highest conversion rate of raw materials is 0.925 g/(g·d) at C/N of 20.
