Public space design of resort hotel based on the landscape view

Leisure tourism is favored by more and more people in the 21st century. At the same time, together with leisure tourism, resort hotel shows a sound and rapid development. Due to unique geographical location and customer needs of the resort hotel, the external environment becomes the main part during the planning and design, then the building is playing second fiddle. The surrounding environment must be fully considered when the investor and the designer select the location, which makes the environment become the main part. Therefore, to make the building harmony with the environment, the environmental landscape is the focus in the resort hotel design. The lobby and the dining space of resort hotel are anlysed, and it is discussed how to make the landscape environment entering into the indoor space during the public space of resort hotel design.
