Abstract
The first section of this paper is an overview of motor assembly in the low to medium volume high product mix category. The second section of the paper deals with the definitions associated with motor assembly in the low to medium volume high product mix category. The third section of the paper presents alternatives for motor assembly in the low to medium volume high product mix category. In the final section of the paper one alternative is suggested and general results of an actual application of the suggested techniques are presented
