Abstract
This new generation of L-band switching matrices combines high density, serviceability and world-leading performance. Leading edge RF and microwave design techniques are used to produce compact, high performance splitter and switch circuits. These in turn are used to make a 32 input, 32 output switching matrix. Isolation between circuits has been maximised at the same time as incorporating easy service and compactness. Robust performance has been achieved by utilising extensive redundant design techniques
