Abstract
The demand of broadband high-mobility communication increased dramatically with the rapid development of high speed railway system. A beamforming platform through changing transmitter antenna direction base on real time receiver Global Positioning System (GPS) information was proposed to improve communication quality. Experiments were carried out over Taiwan High Speed Railway (THSR) train to analysis the tracking capability and path loss model. The results show that the received signal strength indicator (RSSI), carrier to interference plus noise ratio (CINR) and throughput were improved.
