  • Abstract
The Fast Inhomogeneous Plane Wave Algorithm (FIPWA) whose idea is similar to fast multi-pole method (FMM) is one of the most attractive solvers recently. In this paper, the parallel technique and the mixed basis function based on the generalized lead wire are introduced to FIPWA, and come into being Parallel Fast inhomogeneous plane wave algorithm (PFIPWA), which in further improves the efficiency of FIPWA. This algorithm is examined and certified with the RCS of standard models. Then the RCS of one tower of the ultra high voltage transmission line (UHVTL) is emulated.
