Abstract
This study evaluates the current state of electronic commerce (EC) research in China. The authors examine 275 articles in 18 journals acknowledged as the top journals of the field from 1998 to 2010. This study summaries some literatures and classification for EC. The authors present the four classifications which are research field, research objects, operational progresses and research methods. The study adopts herfindahl index to analyze the diversity of E-commerce research in China.
