Abstract
A Ka-Band spatial power dividing/combing hybrid transition circuit using rectangular waveguide connector is presented. The simulation model of this power divider/combiner structure is developed. A four-way waveguide power dividing/combing circuit has been designed, fabricated and tested. In the frequency range of 34 to 36 GHz, the return loss is less than 15 dB, and the insert loss is better than 1.8 dB, which indicate that this power dividing/combing hybrid transition circuit has the advantages of low insertion loss and compact size. Good agreement is obtained between the measured results and the simulated results.
