Research on low- carbon development for small and medium-sized enterprises in China

Low-carbon economy is a new development outlook for the enterprises. Under the conditions of low-carbon economy, it is necessary for enterprises to achieve strategic transformation, change development model and realize strategic pattern of sustainable development. Because the traditional development model as well as inadequacy of technological innovation & application capacity restricts the low-carbon development of small and medium-sized enterprises in China, proposals on development are put forward in this study: low-carbon operation principle and low-carbon thinking should be established; the low-carbon technological innovation & application capacity should be enhanced; financial support should be sought to increase research and development investment.
