Abstract
Hydraulic accumulator type braking energy regeneration system have the advantages of high power density, low cost and reliable property, which is suitable for the traditional engine driving bus. The variable displacement hydraulic pump/motor is used the braking energy recovery system as regeneration conversion device, its structure parameters affected braking energy recovery rate and regeneration rate. In this paper, the system composition and was designed, the influencing factors for braking energy recycle rate and regeneration rate was analyzed, a method of parameters optimization for variable displacement pump/motor was putted forward, the parameters of variable displacement pump/motor and its transmission were optimized, and that were equipped on Zhongtong LCK6850CHDD type bus. The results of road travel test showed that the method can improve fuel economic character, braking energy recovery rate and recycling rate.
