Abstract

The role of information technology in enterprise has changed fundamentally. Emphases on IS return research have turn into how to promote competition advantage and how to increase the value of IS investment. After analyzing the particularity and complexity of IS investment project, an ex-ante evaluation model is set up, which aims to find the real value of IS investment and to provide the decision information to supervisor. Finally optimal strategies are analyzed in order to improve the investment value according to the financial and management theories.
